One Year Later ...

I didn't realize it has been a whole year since my last post. Not that anyone missed me, if the lack of comments is any indication. Oh well.

Yesterday was our 29th anniversary and we're still happy together!

Our 28th

Yesterday my wonderful husband and I celebrated our 28th anniversary. We'e had our ups and our downs, our good times and our bad times, our sickness and our health; and we still love each other. I feel very blessed!

Corned beef and cabbage, baby red potatoes, baby carrots, sautéed sweet onions and Guinness Extra Stout ~ it was a wonderful dinner!

Merry Christmas 2011

It's been a wonderful day to celebrate the Lord Jesus' birth! We didn't make it to a church service but we did listen to some beautiful Christmas CDs. We both were able to restrain ourselves while shopping, so there was just one gift apiece. We've been relaxing and just enjoying all day; and now that the remains of the meal have been put away, we're settling down to Sunday Night Football.

Tomatoes and other veggies

The tomatoes in my Earth Box are finally turning red so I picked 6 of them today. The rest of them will probably freeze tonight or tomorrow night. I think this is the last year I'll try to grow any veggies here ~ nothing I've planted the past 3 summers seems to like the weather. At least one of the local stores has good produce most of the year.

Another Hooray!

My bone density scan came back showing everything is just fine! This is very good news!
